Website
Happy Me used to be a blog, on which I blogged every now and then. I used to take a lot of breaks, simply so I wouldn't have to blog for a long time. I had blogged for a few years and it became a bit of a drag, which is not the way it's supposed to be. After I took another break, which lasted for a whole year, I decided to blog in pictures. Eventually, I figured out that this didn't really work out either. After not blogging for another year, I decided what I wanted to do. From now on, Happy Me will be my photography website. I'll still use my flickr, but simply not as much. Hopefully, having a website will also give me some extra motivation to take more pictures.
I entered this big "Internet world" quite a while ago. I was about ten years old. After watching my very first Winx Club episode, I was totally obsessed with it. I had already used the computer before of course. Quite a lot, actually. But I had always used it to play games, like the Sims or others. I searched the Internet for websites about Winx and found quite a lot. I decided I wanted to do something alike and made my very first website, which you can see by clicking here. It was in my native language, Dutch. After a while, I decided I was sick of the never-ending scrollbar, and started searching for another website to make mine on. I found "websitemaker", unfortunately they deleted all of the websites that were created with its first version. Eventually, I wasn't content with "websitemaker" either anymore, and I found everyoneweb. My entire website was still based on Winx Club, seeing I was still obsessed with it. I got really annoyed with all the ads after a little while and started searching for something else, again. I found FreeWeb's non-html mode and started using this. But I wanted more. I kept seeing these HTML-websites and wanted to learn how to use HTML too. I created Bananafun with Freeweb's HTML mode. This was my very first non-Winx Club related website. Someone I knew started hosting her own website, and I really liked this idea. I begged my dad for about three days and got to do this too. This is how Happy Me was created. And I've had Happy Me ever since.
